Anush Movsesian is an Armenian Artist, living in the US. She started making art at a pretty young age. She remembers using twigs to scratch out designs on large ivy leaves in her grandma’s backyard; drawings of princesses in long gowns, and hats drawn in cut-away, fully-furnished castles; making salt dough beads with her dad.
Anush's parents were very into arts. Her mom loved to draw and paint and her father was a musician and so she was encouraged at a very young age to express herself.
Another huge inspiration is Anush's Armenian culture/heritage and her grandmothers. She is the granddaughter of Armenian genocide survivors who came to the United States of America, and created a life for themselves and their family out of nothing. Anush's grandmothers were (and still are) a constant inspiration to her in surmounting life’s challenges.
